I am a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Family Advocate
I am dedicated to helping spouses and parents navigate the emotional, behavioral, and communication challenges that often emerge after a traumatic brain injury. My work is deeply personal. After my husband experienced a TBI, I found myself in a world of sudden personality changes, unpredictable anger, fear-driven emotional swings, and a medical system that wasn’t equipped to provide individualized, family-centered support.
I didn’t just “walk beside” my husband; I became his translator, his voice, and his advocate. I saw firsthand how families were often left to figure things out on their own, without tools, without support, and without anyone explaining what was happening or how to respond. As I began to share our story and connect with other caregivers, I realized something powerful: no family should have to navigate traumatic brain injury alone.
Today, I help families move from helplessness and hopelessness to clarity and confidence. Through my TBI Family Stabilization Plan and private coaching, I teach families how to communicate more effectively, understand what their loved one is experiencing, and build a support system that leads to real progress. Families deserve more than guesswork; they deserve direction, support, and a clear path forward.
My mission is simple and unwavering: to help families feel empowered, not overwhelmed, during the long road of TBI recovery.
